I have been passionate about hairdressing from a very young age, all my dollies did start with long hair ending with shaved heads. I used to colour their hair with my colouring pens and using coloured chalk. My mum used to hide scissors because of my sister`s very short fringes and the cats fur and whiskers also disappearing. I did train as hairdresser at the age of 18 in Portugal for 3 years and did have a job at my auntie`s salon. I later did enrol in a university to study psychology and criminology. I came to England in 2001 to work for 6 months to pay for my studies and I met my son`s father. After a few years in England I retrained in hairdressing and got my NVQ2 and managed to get a job in a salon. I grew in the salon, taking part in fashion shows, hairdressing competitions, training staff, being part of the management team and I also achieved a colour masters in the Schwarzkopf academy in London. In 2016 I also had extensive experience in competitions and fashions shows, inclusive of taking part in assisting in London Fashion Week show. During my career I became poorly and that inspired me to have my own business. I did a lot of research to find a brand that would offer organic, cruelty free and vegan colours and products and eventually I came across OCS. In September 2017 I opened my salon, I have created my own hair image collection and in June I was nominated and a finalist for SME National Green Award. 

I am very proud to be working together with Carly, our new in house beauty therapist And offering my clients extra services under one roof.

Carly and I have the same views and ethos, we use Organic, Vegan, Cruelty Free and as much as possible, made in the UK and we support equally small businesses and faire trade brands.

I keep myself updated and I attend various courses to offer my clients the best!

I am trained in different hair cutting/colouring/styling techniques, barbering, makeup, social media and marketing and I am also a first aider.

I now also offer “My Colour Love” in the salon, I have qualified recently in colour analysis. This complements  my consultations in hair creating a personalised service to my lovely clients.
