The Story About Hair by Carla
I love my job, love hair, love people and love life.
I’m a very positive person and love to make people feel at home.
I have been doing hairdressing for many years and I keep updating my knowledge attending courses and fashion shows.
I started my own business prioritising health and the impact of pollution on the world. After many months of research I came across Organic Colour Systems a British hairdressing manufacturer, located in The New Forest, and they ticked all my boxes: Organic, Vegan friendly, Cruelty free, Gluten-free and using PCP packaging.
I fell in love by the ethnical approach of this company, using local farmers to supply their ingredients to make colours and products, employing local people and most of all the Non Animal Testing!
Being made in the UK, with no importation tax, this means that Organic Hair and aftercare is affordable to everyone, and this also means a much smaller impact of carbon footprint.
I believe in kindness and sustainability, and since 2021 Hair by Carla became a Certified Vegan salon, and as part of my green ethos, I have also joined Salon Sustainability and I am very proud to say that all the hairdressing waste its all recycled.
I’m very conscious of products I use and what I do to minimise anything that is pollutive to us, animals and to the environment.

Hi Im Carla, I have been doing hair for 15 years. I love my job, and my salon is where I spend most of my time. I specialise in all aspects of hair colouring and hair repair. I also love working with different types of hair textures and being myself curly, I also specialise and understand curly hair. I am a mom of 1 boy, Daniel and also of 2 beloved cats, Kiko my Mainecoon boy and Princess-Sissi my rescued Portuguese Siamese. I am vegan for the animals and for the planet, because I believe in unconditional love, respect for any life and I truly care for our beautiful planet. Carla xoxo
